Mac OSX (Leopard) 10.5.3 Update Hangs at “Configure the Installation”

Just tried to update Mac OSX (Leopard) on my MacBook Pro to 10.5.3. It started with the installation process, but the installation hangs at “Configure the Installation”.

Solution that worked for me: Skip the installation process and reboot. Download the update from the Mac OS X 10.5.3 Combo Update page and manual install the 10.5.3 update.

    I tried that and it said I didnt have capabilities for that. I still cannot figure out how to update.
